"Round Hohenwart & Schellbronn" is a classic Gold city tour in Pforzheim city forest — a bit more demanding than the shorter Hohenwart loop, with Wolfsgrube, Simmerich and Hohe Warte. Start is Schönbornstraße in Hohenwart; about 15 minutes from Schellbronn by car.

Via trim trail, Hasenackerweg and Wolfsgrubenweg you reach historic Wolfsgrube — natural monument with views into Würm valley. Further on via Grenzweg and Heuweg into Hagenschieß forest.

The route leads over Schellbronner Simmerich — a popular forest passage on the Biet plateau — to the scout hut and via Alte Kirchenweg to Hohe Warte with its lookout tower.
After the descent follow Wildmauer, Waldbronn and the return via Klebweg to Schönbornstraße. About 18 km, moderate difficulty, walking time roughly 4½ hours.
