This compact Gold city tour (~12 km) links Wolfsgrube, Schellbronner Simmerich and Hohe Warte — shorter than the big Biet loops. Start is Schönbornstraße in Hohenwart, about 15 minutes from Schellbronn by car.
Via Hasenackerweg and Wolfsgrubenweg to Wolfsgrube in Hagenschieß forest — natural monument with info board and views towards Liebeneck.
Schellbronner Simmerich and Hohenwarter Köpfle lead to Hohe Warte: shortened observation tower, open again (573 m above sea level), then downhill via Unterreichenbacher Straße and Klebweg back to the start.
Moderate difficulty, walking time about 3 hours. Bring sturdy shoes and food.
